PHYSIOLOGY WEEK 2 - EXCRETORY SYSTEM

We are continue our study of Physiology by taking a look at the Excretory System. This is broken up into two condensed lessons. Please read the instructions, watch the videos, answer the questions, and fill out the Google form by the end of the week.

Lesson #1
We are going to start the excretory/urinary system with an overview. After watching, answer the following questions in a Google Doc then share it with me or take a picture of notebook paper then email it to me ([email protected]): 1. What is the primary organs involved in the urinary system? 2. What is the purpose of this body system? 3. What is an easy way to tell how hydrated you are? |

Now we are going to get a little more in depth. Please watch "What Causes Kidney Stones" and Part 2 of the CrashCourse - Urinary System. If there is a part that you don't understand, you can rewatch it or email me your question so I can further explain it. After watching, answer the following questions in a Google Doc then share it with me or take a picture of your notebook then email it to me ([email protected]) You can include it with your questions from Lesson #1: 1. What causes kidney stones? 2. What does the ureter do? 3. Why is it important to drink water regularly and avoid over-consuming sugary drinks? Once you've watched both of them and completed this week's lessons, the last thing that I ask for you to do is scroll down and complete the Google form. |
